Thanks, guys.

I suggest to use the weather transitions test fix in order to analyse the influence of the weather on the torpedoes reloading process. with this fix the weather changes every 30 minutes.

And don't forget to install the Supplement to V15E mod (via jsgme).

Thanks + remark

Thank you h.sie

You are in SH3.exe for long time now, but, still, I can’t believe what you accomplish.

In fact, it is unbelievable that so important things are solved just now. They come out from “Classified Impossible” to reality, thanks to you.

Congratulation!

One remark: Is not possible to apply the 4 GB patch from Privateer (after your patch). Reason: unknown file.

May I suggest implementing a 4 GB patch, especially with the configurator file from Stiebler?

Thanks again, I go back for testing.

Hi NGT,

good point, maybe Stiebler is willing to include the 4GB patch into his configurator program. Should not be hard, since it's a single bit somewhere in the exe. easy to locate using fc /b .

In the meantime you could use the 4GB patch I'll upload to my mediafire page in the next minutes.

Default 4 gb patch

Sorry, I can't apply yours too (always after your patch V15E). But it seems like the one from Privateer.

Please try to do. If you succeed, I do something wrong, obviously....

Best regards.

I ask myself what can be wrong...

Without V15E, no problem with 4GB patch. After V15E, no way.

I did it 3 times.

However, I found in my archives, another 4GB patch, and it works
. It is an older than the one from Privateer.

Thank you for the upload anyway.

The 4GB patch doesn't even do anything if you're using a 32-bit OS, correct?

Would love to try this mod, although I've been playing SH4 more lately, because it behaves a whole lot better than SH3 (=doesn't crash as much, if at all).

There's a universal 4GB patch for x86 executables:

aaa GREAT NEWS H.Sie !

thank you very much for this last version !

question : the ''switces'' are now in line 0x148FE0 (not at 0x148F60 anymore ) right ? if yes....can you please tell what 'switch' is each one of these at the last version ? (becuase i see more ''switces''...now)

also, can remind me for what exactly the sh3sim.act file is for in your mod ?

again...a big Bravo to all involved at this effort !

@Makman: Thanks, mate. Shortly, after beta testing period, I'll publish Stieblers fix configurator, which allows you to enable/disable individual fixes by manipulating the according switches. But in short, if you don't want to wait:

0x148FE0: RepairTime_Switch:
0x148FE1: WO_Switch:
0x148FE2: WP_Switch:
0x148FE3: CO2_Switch:
0x148FE4: Snorkel_Switch:
0x148FE5: Peri_Switch:
0x148FE6: Hydrophone_Switch:
0x148FE7: FogWarning_Switch:
0x148FE8: CrashDiveFix_Switch:
0x148FE9: TorpedoReload_Switch:

-----------------------

Sh3Sim.act contains the code responsible for the reload process of the torpedoes. If you remove the patched Sh3Sim.act file, my torpedo reload fix won't work and you'll see stock sh3 behaviour.

Short question from me: For what exactly was the "CameraBehavior.act" ? Sorry, but I can´t remember....
And do I need this absolutely ?

Best regards,
Magic

@Magic: It's for the periscopes blur effect to simulate vibrations for higher speeds
