^ I'm getting the feeling you might like Layla a little bit.
 Layla Is a masterpiece. The late Duane Allman and Eric Clapton created this timeless classic. The guitar riff was based on one Albert King played on his song "As The Years Go Passing By," but the overall tempo was speed-ed up. Fun fact : The drummer with Derek and the Dominoes was Jim Gordon. Jim's girlfriend at the time, Rita Coolidge, is said to have written the Piano piece in Layla. It came from a track called " Time " ( Don't get in our way ) A tape was left with Eric Clapton in the hopes it might be recorded. A year later, Rita was infuriated to hear that her piano piece had been tacked on to the end of Layla. https://www.songfacts.com/facts/derek-the-dominos/layla This song and video goes under the heading of " Something different." Father Ray Kelly was performing a wedding ceremony in Ireland. He decided to lend his considerable vocal talents to the occasion and festivities.
