More crickets.
Does it have to concern a u-boat to get anything done around here ? Vacation, alien abduction, really bad gas, any explanation will do. Respectfully Submitted; CDR Resser

OK I downloaded Narwhal...
Now how do I install it? Just copy the Narwhal data folder right on top of the SH4 data folder? My modding experience with this game ain't much.

lordish, download JSGME, its in the mods list stickied at the top of this forum.
CDR Resser et al, I'm not in control of the TMO conversion for the Narwhal, and my attempts at making it RFB compatible have drawn up blanks. I believe Ducimus was making the TMO version but, since I don't frequent this area much anymore, I don't know what he's up to. I'm sure theres some talent somewhere that could do this stuff in a blink of an eye, but I don't know him and I'm far past my modding prime

Sledge,
Ducimus has written and provided to Neal a patch that makes the Narwhal compatible with TMO. From what Ducimus has indicated, this was done several months ago. There has been no reason give as to why that patch has not been released. I have placed Narwhal in the vanilla sim as well as with RSRD, but am just not willing to give up everything that goes along with TMO of RFB to be able to use it. The patch exists and works well, according to Ducimus. If it is a matter of additional donations, fine. Give us some word one way or another. I will happily donate again. Otherwise, it leaves the impression that the patch is being intentionally withheld, for reasons only the person responsible knows. Respectfully Submitted: CDR Resser

Ducimus' last activity was in August. I'll PM Neal to see if he's gotten anything.
This is not the kind of community that intentionally holds onto things when its promised to be released. I don't think I have to go into a spiel about real life and how it can get in the way. I hope everything's alright with Duci, but I don't blame him if he's just spending some time way from the PC. As modders, we work for free, and, sometimes, like what happened to me, one day you just wake up and start doing something else. Either way, I'll do what I can to get as close to the bottom of this, as I can. Sh427

Ditto, Bubblehead. TMO is essential, the Narwhal is expendable even though it sure would be nice to have. I'd download it too if available.
Cool! The mod is still a donation mod. That's a barrier to me right now but won't remain so. I'm seriously overdue in donating to Subsim anyway....

I'm of the mind that the reason it's not released for addition to TMO (directly into it) is that it is indeed a donation mod.

I would gladly donate but want it to work with TMO before I do because I will never use it without TMO.

I can relate .... but I'm still tempted. It's a beautiful ship mod, from the looks of it.
