Anyway thats the damage flaw i was talking about. I could take machine gun fire and have the same results in looks.

The damage 3D model is larger than the hull 3D model but is doesn't show until you take damage. So it just needs to be resized.

I thought that issue had been addressed in the latest version of the mod ?

As for a RFB compatible version LukeFF told me that unfortunately he doesn't have the time to make one, so we will try to do it in due time.

i dont have the new version of the mod i guess. dont have my receipt so... guess i'll have to wait till i can put money on my debit card and redownload it.

I would love that. i know i know its not realistic just eye candy but heck... boys she looked real good back in the 30's all dolled up like that even the S-boats had a beauty. Fubars gray skin on an s-boat makes her look like a tux u know, an older and different breed of sub. i get all nostalgic sorry...

I'm not against more high res textures... but then also make one that's wartime historically accurate too !

I am using the Narwhale with FOTRS V1.3 I just took the carer DDS files and changed them to replace the older Narwhale already in FOTRS so i could use yours. Works beautifully aside from said small issues.

He'll E-male you within 24 hours or so. That's what i went through. be sure to check back in this post to see what you should do if your aft deck gun happens to end up on its side. Though i think they have taken care of the problem by now... Just lookin out. Happy hunting.

Default Narwhal With No Topside

Downloaded Narwhal. Stuffed files. Game offers it, starts, but I've got a hull, no topside. Can't go to bridge, can't go to guns. Can get underway... What may I have missed?

I don't know what MODs you are using, but usually the lack of a tower is in the Data/UPCData/UPCUnitsData folder. You usually have two UnitParts#subname.upc with the same number. The stock game has 1-7, the Narwhal I think is number 8. If you have a MOD enabled with a UnitParts8 then that is most likely the reason you don't have a tower.

You hit the nail right on the head; except it was not a number issue, I had failed to stuff the files under UPCUnitsData. I'll put myself on report...

Is there a document or docs that I can read to start understanding this interrelationship of objects?

the mod was jsgme ready, you shouldn't have to "stuff" things !
