This is colorized footage of a performance by the The Beatles as the UK's contribution to the very first global satellite TV transmission; Fourteen (14) counties worldwide participated in the broadcast (the USSR pulled out of the program over the opposition by the West to Arab aggression in the Six Day War); if you look closely at the clip, you might spot some of the other then top UK artists of the time in the audience or participating...

BTW, the US contribution to the telecast?: an exterior shot of a house where LBJ and USSR Premier Kosygin were holding a conference/summit meeting; the two most powerful leaders in the world were not shown on camera because the organizers of the groundbreaking event insisted that no politicians be allowed to be shown during the presentations...
