Wern is one of the original rats, a rats rat....

However, I think he evolved out of the rats due to our vile nature, smells and probably won't return, but he'll always be a rat in our hearts..

Lorelei got another one but, I don't think that's Wernher. I always held hope that his dinghy was still afloat and he was merely caught in the Pacific garbage pile without a paddle.

We're going to have to wait a few more years for DNA advances to identify that skeleton. At least the poor beggar fed the Rats for awhile.

If Wern does come back, I'm going to need an extra-long confessional with him. Make sure the confession-cam is good to go, and there is an abundant supply of snacks for you and communion wine for me.

Well, he certainly needs to explain himself for his long absence without say'n nothing or requesting leave.

Well, when I go, I expect what's left of the bilge to give me a proper funeral and burial, tell a lot of jokes, have fun and bury me at sea.
