Default Another GWX question

By the way, in GWX do you have to see the flag of a merchant to know the nationality?

Either that or you pop the hatch open and you ask them :p :rotfl:

Either do that or if your TC limits at 32 then sink it.

This is the enemy detection factor so if your TC goes orange and wont' go higher then you are in the presence of an enemy plane or ship.

Nasty little workaround.

Feel the power of the dark side of the force.

Sorry to display my ignorance, but what does TC stand for? I'm kicking myself because I bought SH3 at release time and still don't know.

When you say enemy plane or warship, does it include merchants? Because I have the colored map icons to show enemies . . . except of course merchants which show up as gray.

Yes it' the same for merchants, planes and warships. The moment they're close TC drops to 32 or 8 (depending of the distance)

I think 32 is max when you´re on the hunt and no danger is there (like you hunt a lone merchant submerged)...and 8 is max when you will be hunted by a escort which detected you.

Alright so i went with the fresh install although i had never used any mods but just to be safe.
First thing i want to say is how appreciative i am to everyone involved, thank you for creating GWX.

Now on to the issues im experiencing.

1. I dont have in game music anymore, only the gramaphone. I really like the music in game and am hoping that GWX did not for sake of realism get rid of it.

2. My topredos dont seem to want to reload.

3. please help me!

In game there is no music. The only solution is to put the songs you like in the gramophone and listen to them.

You're either running in silent mode or you don't have enough crew in the compartment. To load the torpedoes you must:
1. Have the autoload icon clicked in the Weps screen.
2. Disable Silent Running
3. Have enough crew in the compatment (see the bar on top of the compartments in the Crew screen. If it's fully green you're Ok)

To load external torpedoes you must
1. Be on the surface
2. Disable Silent Running
3. Have enough crew in the compartment
4. Drag the external torpedo and drop it in the internal reloads

Well your answer to the torpedos realy makes me feel stupid, funny how i didint notice the bit X on the torpedo icon while running silent so thank you for clearing that up. But what do you mean no ingame music? When i played before without GWX there was nice music that would play in the background unless i turned it off. Are you saying this music was coming from the gramaphone all along?? It didnt seem to be as the gramaphone had its own song all though it was only one. And if the no music thingy is the case where would i find the original music that would play before GWX and where would i put it to enable withen the gramaphone.

Thank in advance for the help =)

To tell you the truth I haven't played stock SH3 for ages so I don't really remember how it is. If I remember correctly though there was no music in-game, only in the loading screens. I think the only music you can access while playing is through the gramophone.
