Default Never a truer word:

On a less frivolous note, I just found this post by nutworld whilst wandering through the byways of Subsim:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...86&postcount=1

and thought it well worth repeating...

Default Statistics Don't Lie:

Just occurred to me whilst looking at the figures in GT's: more people now care about what animals go to see at the movies than they do what happened 100 years ago in history or what beautiful women are looking like...

What if lawn mowers are so loud because they have to cover the screams of the grass being massacred?

Why is it that everyone driving faster than you is considered an idiot and everyone driving slower than you is a moron?

How do you handcuff a one-armed man?

In boating circles, a "spar lash" is a type of guy line that connects rigging without nails.
"Lash" is from the Danish "laska" meaning to stitch or fasten.
A "spar" is a rounded pole of wood or metal used to support rigging.

Hmmm the spar lash that I know is at the pointy end of the anchor.
