A storm can brew up quite quickly in the Atlantic.

Ok, who is going to be the first to show some FRESH pics from GWX 2.1. Don't you get smart with me. I am talking about new pics, not the ones already posted some time ago.

Caught up with the convoy and resumed the attack about 20km further on, sinking two more:

Going down

They looked, but didn't find me

Likewise yours, love that waterline shot.

I should catch up with my convoy and get into position in time for a dawn attack with any luck. I've got two torps left underdeck forward. I'll have some soul-searching to do, as I adopted a house rule a while back that I can't reload from topside storage unless weather conditions would permit in RL.

Same here! Always stick to the RL rules!
Makes it more fun! And by the way, what method do you use for your calculations?:hmm:

Darn, thought you were asking about diesel consumption, but wasn't sure. :rotfl:

Well, I run manual plots in the navmap (I used to use paper plots, but not real relative plots on plotting sheets) pretty much just based on WO reported range and bearing when available. Together with 3:15 plots for target speed and course. Hydrophone estimated plots when not in visual. For intercepts, I run dead-reckoning against speed/distance tables. Out of WO visual and submerged is a bit dicey. I do things such as relative bearing up and down the convoy line for course, for example. I've just started with OLC's Gui which should improve things submerged, although I havent' actually used it yet. For setting up attacks, I run own plot forward and then into convoy track for desired shoot position and AoB. Although sometimes I just make a wild guess.

results of a single escort convoy in the BFs

Heading back home to restart in 2.1. Currently 10k from Calais with distant destroyers visible,
ready to try one of my patented decks awash breakthoughs.
