Strange

When i download GWX3.exe and launch it i get the following error :

''
Runtime error (at 52:371):

The source file is corrupted.
''

Any clues how to solve this? I tried shutting down avast (anti-virus) but to no effects. I saw at page #179 of this thread that another guy had the same issue, he didnt posted again i think.

I run on windows XP and have a fresh sh3 installation + patched to 1.4b.

There's a risk of packets lost when you're downloading BIG .exe files especially if they are not ziped or rared into archive. Or if you have questionable internet connectivity in quality. Try downloading these 7 bin files instead.

When you download big files, you should check the Md5 to ensure that the file is correct. (Available at JonesSoft as Md5Mate: http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/software/

Hi, i do have the 7 bins files but i'm not sure how to use them. I don't think i have the proper program to read them. (They show as virtual CloneDrive applications)

By the way, i tried using the MD5 program you linked me too, what i did is browse the path to the GWX3.exe on my computer after download for the first step, then i pasted the verification number found on the grey wolves website for the second step and clicked ''compare''. It telled me that the files were the same, but the source file is still altered if i launch it.

After i decided to compare the bins but they all have differents MD5, the numbers are totally different from the website. Hmm this doesnt sounds good !

After further verifications it seems that i can't download anything properly lol

I downloaded the full monsun saga and when i extracted it with Winrar it called a total of 3507 CRC failed errors, the file is corrupted.

I'm a bit desperate now.

Is it something i can fix myself?

Get 7z to do the extracting, and be sure to use MD5 on large files.

If i understaned corectly enableing alternative flotilas mod shoud give me 3rd flotila in exchange for the 11st flot, right?
I put the mod via jsgm and got 11st flotila in my flotilas list but not the 3rd like you sad in the manual.
I`m in the mid april `41 maby that is the resaon?

And another q. When I use 16 km mod should I be able to see up to 16 km right?
I enebled the mod found a convoy and se up to 8km but not targets outside this range.
