Oooh! This sounds important!

Oddly enough I'm already there, mate. No need to shout.

thank you so much for the printer friendly linkl

And now that I seem to have wandered into the midst of an ongoing 'conversation', I'll just lower my scope and troll off at depth.

Apologies Akmatov, don't let it scare you off. Every so often, someone feels it necessary to attack the project for any number of reasons. Don't let it scare you away. There are more good days than bad. Unfortunately, we sometimes have to suffer through the ravings of lunatics.

Not a problem.

While I might come up with something I might like to see handled differently, it would be stupid and rude to insult people who have spend thousands of hours on giving me something for free. If I feel strongly enough about it, I can always go write my own mod.

To all:

In light of Owner20071963's ongoing rants in this forum and others, (see link below) and as he is the chief administrator for the CSP organization, we can no longer continue to offer any real or implied support to ComSubsPac as an organization.

We had hoped that Owner's rage and delusional behavior would cool with time. However, Owner20071963 has left us with little choice but to withdraw all support and to distance ourselves as FAR as possible from ComSubsPac... as he continues to shame himself, the good people who remain with CSP, and the entire Subsim community. Our choice to support them in the past was regrettable and ceases immediately.

And I thought I'm the worse one in-here Dogfights all around recently in various levels so to speak The way is not that bad to let the steam go depending on temper, but it is much more better and healthier to leave all negatives in a gym

Thank you for the sentiment, Akmatov.

@Contact and all,

It is an unfortunate thing, that running a successful project means one must suffer the occasional (sometimes REPEATED) attention of fools, malcontents, jealous rivals, liars, pseudo-intellectuals,... and even lunatics from time to time.

Dealing with hate just comes with the territory. Some hate us because we didn't choose to do things their way. Some hate us for no other reason than because we have the temerity to simply BE here.

We do our best to keep our patience with the blitherings of the handful who wish to be destructive. Sometimes, you just want to reach through your monitor and SLAP the FIRE out of the latest ding-dong...

... but in the end... logic simply baffles them.

Being a project manager all too often means making decisions that will result in someone... somewhere... hating the outcome... and hating the lucky guy who makes the decision. (see post #4516 above) It is a mistake to even try and make everybody happy because it is absolutely impossible to do so. Being a project manager is NOT FUN LOL! There are LOADS of ARMCHAIR GENERALS out there who are ready at a moment's notice to say, "Well, if I was the project manager. I'd do things this way or that way... blablablablabla... so easy a caveman could do it ... yadda yadda... etc etc." However, I am the unlucky guy in the hot-seat... and I will make hard decisions when necessary.

I think Neal should double my pay... and I think I should get a hefty bonus for surviving an attempt at mutiny. (Then again, the entertainment value of just being able to say that is priceless! )

Guys, we do what we do for free... and because we have a passion for U-boat history.

Those who don't appreciate it... have a number of choices. NO ONE has a lack of choices here at Subsim.

If you don't like GWX... Get over it and try something different. It ain't hard and it ain't rocket science.

We'll keep going... why shouldn't you... ya know?

Peace and purpose will be maintained on this thread... one way or the other.

Logic!

Sink'em all!!!

Sincerely,

Darth Lehmann

Well, what exactly is it that makes you believe it is related to a properly installed copy of GWX?

What other mods are you using?

Please,

first thing in sight was a closed, only-the-few-of-us, selected-holy-elite on
ComSubsPac web site, so i assume they(or rather he) took it too seriously...
I mean , a matter of fun and where you can do seriously research and study to get a more accurate version of that fun (which i greatly appreciate) and, moreover, oh yes... is free !, has been that: share...enjoy.
And all this is given openly and freely, and keeping a good vibe.
Now when you take seriously the other thing (which is fun and enjoyment) I guess is no longer fun at all and quickly the matter can turn into a dictator-thing, ordering everything and evryone to make his mind.
Well, plenty of that crap already in this little world of us :rotfl:
so dont litter here, owner-whatever, you know quite well your corner (ComSubsPac) where to lay for such an errand to command others what might be your world

(still wondering bout those private jet flights ) :rotfl:

I think we should keep a few things in mind.
I think this tells it in a way that does that.

Just picture all the Modders while you listen.

Well KaptLehmann Like on the first page that there is a edge near the horizon and with gwx3.0 not i still have that edge

Now i don't use any mods at all at the moment but i do want realistic repairs and smoke en stream. And that the boat shakes with depth charges.

I will download gwx2.1 too again for the schnellboot mod.
Damn i miss that mod !
