bonjurica to everybody!
my 3d modelling days are past me but i'm a narwhal/argonaut fan hence i'll accept your challenge. couple of catches: * i don't know zip about textures so that part will be someone else's job. * i'll do one generic hull for v-4/5/6 (AFAIR the differences between the classes were minor) and four conning tower models: argonaut early/late, narwhal/nautilus early/late (argo + gun platforms). * 6 inch gun model as bonus if you can integrate it in the game. i say again: models only (exported in the 3d format of your choice). textures, .sim files, damage models, crew rosters, etcaetera, i'm parallel with these as we say here in RO. takers? |

Welcome Walleye! Somebody HAS to take you up on it. I wish I had the knowledge to tackle something like this.

Quote:
The second difference is neglectable in game, as that part is always under water, the first one is important but easy to overcome: Make the Argonaut the basis and add the gun platform over it for the other two boats (Something you would have needed to do anyway). So just make the part under the platform, which will be invisible in the Naut/Narw, be teh Argonaut one

the only problem is finding cross-sections of the boats, so we know how to form the shape of the hull, the stern is being moody as well.
