Yes. You very much need to have a joystick to play any of the DCS products.
Unless you don't care about flying and just want to sit at the airfield and press

It's like stepping into an actual flight simulator, pointing at the control stick or yoke, and asking "do I really need that?".

Probably works out about £10-20.

If I'm honest there wasn't a great deal that piqued my interest this year. Perhaps I'm becoming a gamer snob...?
