Indeed, and I'm impressed that the AI actually used an RPG to kill Arclight in his Chinook. Damn thing nearly took my head off as it went through.

The one Total War game I always love to play again and again over the years is Shogun 2.
In my opinion the best overall Total War they created so far.

Uesugi Kenshin doin' what he does best.
I accidentally clicked "Stand and Fight!" when he was way too close to the enemy.
All but two of his Hatamoto died and initially I thought he would die too considering the overwhelming forces in that area.
But he didn't.

He fought his way out, survived and I won the battle. Phew!

An America in chaos, fallen to civil war in the wake of nuclear attacks on Chicago, D.C., and Newark, the Invasion begins with the Occupation of San Diego on March 3rd 1954.

By October the West is in Russian hands, though lack of Fuel slows down much of the advance, except for the Air Calvary Corps which conducts a blitzkrieg across the south and eventually single-handedly secures the east coast. The Americans don't put up much resistance, beaten down long before the invasion by the various partisan groups who also don't offer much resistance to advancing Russians.

On February 17th 1955, The United States of America surrenders.

A new government is formed to oversea the rebuilding of the now Worker's States of America, Devastation from coast to coast means a long road ahead for them.
