It is something of a dry mouth trip I admit, especially with the new shore batterys added in GWX 2.0. Stay exactly 3000 metres out from about 7 Km approaching Calais to a point past the headland, at full ahead (with decks awash it drops to 10 kts). Far enough out to avoid the mine field but close enough inshore to slip past the armed trawlers (just). I used the same method in GWX 1.03 with both the VIIB and the IXB until I was transfered to Lorient. If you can face that rout you can face anything else this game has to offer :p
