I feel sorry for the poor sods in the force that have no choice but to defend the idiots in power. Same for those in the military.

Quote from the BBC last night, after the headline reader missed some punctuation and said 'Mrs Brooks denies claims her husband stands by her'.

Brilliant.

Both Police and armed forces swear an allegiance to the crown, not the muppets in power.

Granted they carry out the orders passed down from said muppets but I sometimes wonder what would happen in a time of potential revolution if they had to decide on which side they were going to be loyal towards....politicians or royalty.

"Sorry Mrs May due TO YOUR CUTS I cant spare any officers for you today or for any other for the see able future"

Best thing the police can do is turn up late to a crime scene which involves a Tory MP.

It would be nice if it was a violent crime, then the MP would deal with the ambulancemen they upset, who might take him to hospital to see some friendly nurses and doctors as they are on good terms too.
If the crime ever gets to court the MP can hope that the prosecution goes ahead as apparently the tories have even managed to annoy the barristers of all people.
I mean seriously, how ridiculous is it when the "law and order" tories have managed to totally piss off everyone in law enforcement from the police through the courts and onto the prison service.
You can understand it with health as there is some big money to be made if they can slice out all the juicy bits for themselves, but to be thoroughly screwing something they traditionally call their cornerstone??????

The armed forces have traditionally been a majority Tory group - maybe it was only the commisioned officers that used to know how to vote? Can't see it remaining that way...

Aye, does make you wonder. Also makes you wonder what HRH thinks of the muppets in power (aside from her twitter account - https://twitter.com/#!/Queen_UK ). Does the army still do the oath to the monarch though? I thought that went out with the 'Royal' part of the army (New Model Army)?

They certainly do, and Her heirs and successors.

Don't say the H in heirs like I did in my attestation.

I don't know, swearing allegiance to Her Majestys Stylist sounds like a plan...
