Hello Kpt. Lehmann,

first, let me say THANK YOU to you and your team for making GWX. my girlfriend is not as much happy about GWX as i am, because i am often on patrol.

one question to you:

in an earlier discussion about integrating the longer repair times mod into GWX you mentioned, that the GWX-team has already slightly increased the repair times. how did you do that??

background of my question: i am a pedant an i quarrel a little bit with the short repair times in sh3.

It was as a result of several linked changes having to do with crew qualities and damage model details.

As described, the repair time increase was 'slight.' To effectively lengthen repair times more significantly we would have had to destroy other modded elements that we'd determined to be critical to GWX and/or the simulation.

Im sure youve heard this hundreds of times,But. Thanks for makeing In my opinion the best supermod mod for sh3.(Eventualy for SH4) Thanks Kpt. Lehmann and the GWX crew for helping keep SH3 alive.

Default Another Dumb question....

Is there any zoom on the deck gun, such as a sight giving a range bearing. (VIIB 9/39, default deck gun).

Edit: Info I seek was in the Player's guide.

It was removed in GWX and other supermods cause it was too easy to sink ships with just a few rounds. Same applied to ammunition which no ww2 sub ever carried.

Well, I'm installing GWX...........

Last time I played SH3 was Beery's final version of RUB.

Some questions.........

Is the XXI available eventually?

(I never drove that boat......)

I got a pretty Uber rig.......What are the state of the art graphics mods for SH3+GWX.....I'm going to install the OLC-Ubermod........

Ducimus did the AI?

What are some other game experience enhancing mods that are the most popular with GWX?

Sub skins in GWX 2.1

Hello,

What kind of u-boat skins are generally compatible with GWX 2.1 and what are not?

Are there limitations to the file structure of u-boat skin mods to be used in GWX 2.1, or are all kinds of skin mods compatible?

Many nice u-boat skins were published before GWX 2.1 and are made of files that are located in Textures\TNormal\tex folder, with no changing files in Library or Submarine folders. Are those mods compatible also?

Most of the mods i have are JSGME ready & i have a large amount of them ! All for Sh-3 GWX 2.1

Hi all and thks for GWX team for nice feature
I have read these forums now and 2.1 manual and I start my career now ...

I have made , what I have read here .. ofcourse some things are out of my head, cos english is not my language..

OK: I made --->

- SH3
- Patch 1.4b
- GWX 2.0
- GWX 2.1
- Apply sub-mods
- Apply 2.1+AOTD bugfixes

Everything is ok... I start my career 2nd flotilla (Wilhelmshaven) 1.8.1939 run out and go my patrol area. My trip was about 7 days and I stok home.
I was 500 reown when I start and I not bay nothing when I go first mission...
Now I start 2nd mission and I use my reown (500)

Is that 500 correct, when I start career?? Manual say that I get 1500???
And manual say , don t do(buy) nothing when go first mission. Ok, I don t ..so now whwn I go 2nd mission war start and I can sink ships and I get more reown?

I have been many years high alt sims (flying) Now I try go little down ... and I m noob for that... but everybody is, when start

No renown in GWX for reach patrol grid

Only have 1500 renown if pass acadamy first
Otherwise start with 500

Yes you will get renown for sink ships
