Are watching a election debate on Danish News Channel. The Danes can vote tomorrow Nov. 1st. On a new Parliament or keep the one they have now.

Icon8 The mean streets of Napa!??

RAIN today! Got the lawns mowed on Sunday in anticipation thereof; but not enough to make a dent in the reservoir/drought situation though. I handed out treats in my latex spikey mask last night to all the little buggers who appeared splendidly costumed...with alot of their equally costumed parents chaperoning from the sidewalk. One little cute 3-4 year-old had glow-lites in his candy bucket into which I doled out a mini-3 Musketeer chocolate and 2 tootsie rolls...only to discover subsequently: those were my own 2 glo-lites for the front porch plastic pumpkin that the wife bade me get in lieu of actual candles. I was robbed!...and will be snacking on excess tootsie rolls for the next week!

The new air fryer arrived today so tonight will see the end for now of frozen chips and the re-introduction of real ones.

It's been a few days and I have to ask. Have you figured out the controls and how to work the Air Fryer ?

If so, how do you like it ? And by the way, where is our food and chips ?

I remember Aeroeskoebing and Marstal, and their marinas. And the colourful doors of the houses. Beautiful, especially in summer

I've only used it once thus far and the wife was alongside me with the instruction manual

The chips I made weren't really crispy enough so I'm going to add a couple of more minutes on the frying time tonight.

If that is successful it will lead me to wondering if other foods should have a longer than recommended frying time

On a positive note, it is only the chips that'll be in the fryer tonight...the curry will be in a pan

Well, I was curious. Besides, I wanted to “ finagle “ some free air fried goodies from Jim's new machine.

You will figure it out. Ours has icons for fish, chicken, fries and other things. You can individually raise / Lower the temperature as well as increase / decrease the cooking time. It's a great machine that even a dummy can use. This is of course a great comfort to me.

By the way, you can get an inexpensive spray bottle and spray / spritz your food with vegetable oil to give your food an “ approximation “ of having been oil fried.

Crew on site installing my overdue solar system. Today is solar panelling on roof and wiring to electric panelling work. fortunately the City of napa permits office deemed our existing fuse panel sufficient; saving a $5k increase to the project's cost. The standby battery will arrive next week. I have to get a new cellphone by the end of this month as the Verizon service I've been with since the 1980's has gone to 5G from my 20 yearold flip phone's G3. this will be good as I can monitor the new solar system power usage on the new phone and the robot vacuum as well....welcome to the 21st century!!??
