I was planning on getting the lowest score ever, but despite the threats, there were only two simians and NO bananas! False advertising.

Was fun though i was completely out of synch once more

I would stare for an hour and nothing happens, then suddenly.. like in a uboat – weeks of boredom interrupted by seconds of sheer terror.
At one point i saw Aktung's whack post before the post containig the squirrel appeared before it, this was really strange.
Another time Eichhörnchen had set a post with some egghead which suddenly vanished again.
I really should switch to other mushrooms..

Related Photos were a nice icing. But I swear to post a german Kaiser photo after each and every whack next time to over(wil)helm the anglophiles' numbers

(Though Willy was anglophile too

That was Dwayne Johnson but his help wasn't needed after all, so he got whacked

And I wholeheartedly agree regarding Aktung's amazing photographs; I posted my ceremonial uniform pics in an attempt to instil some flavour of the day but his pictures really nailed it

The festivities continue in the UK over the weekend - here's a photo of our next door neighbour's flag - and we just got home from an afternoon at the local jubilee fair where I nailed a coconut on the coconut shy. I smashed the bloody thing into tiny pieces after watching all these young guys miss pathetically
