Think i have found a bug :P
Ok im not sure if its a bug or if im just to blind to see the right coordinates.

Its the first mission in my career, starting year 39 homebase is wilhelmshaven.
I get the order to patrol the sector BF10. But there is no sector BF10
The lowest number i get is the sector BF11 so where the heck is BF10?

BF10 grid is a known minor bug ---> http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...F10#post849438

As far as I know in '26April bugix update' for GWX 2.1 that is corrected.

Ah ok thanks. So i have to download the fix also.
Because my installation and download of GWX was also yesterday so i wasnt sure
if that bugfixes allready included or if i had to download a seperate package.

Simply use SH3 Commander to choose your own grid. The renown for reaching and patrolling your assigned grid in GWX2.1 has been discontinued.

I've been sooooooooo busy with SH III + GWX 2.1 that I almost forgot to stop on by, and post a gracious appreciation and thanks to all who worked on this project. It is really a great game now. Exciting, nerve wracking, and just down right fun to play. The pre-war campaign start times are excellent and add a lot to the experience.

I understand that GWX does not reward renown for completing patrol objectives, but does it DEDUCT renown for NOT completing patrol objectives?

I ask this because I would like to conduct a career following SH3Gen's mission assignments, but those assignments are not made until the program is run after launching to sea. Some times its not convenient to accomplish both sets of objectives and you can't change patrol grid destination in SH3 Commander while you are at sea.

Any advice is appreciated.

GWX does not deduct renown for failing to complete patrol objectives. You can feel free to follow SH3Gen mission assignments. (From a 'realism' standpoint though I would avoid any orders to raid harbors.)

Hi!
When i arrived after patrol at Kiel 16th October 39, the IIA U-boot, that is anchored near orchestra and nurses, suddenly exploded. After that U-boot had no visual damage and didn't sink. It's some kind of sabotage, unsuccessful wunderwaffe test, or just galley accident?

I'm using GWX 2.1, SH3 Commander, 16km Atmosphere, Open Hatch Mod, Enhanced Damage Effects, LifeBoats_Debris_v2_A, TypeII Lights V9 5MD GWX21.

With the type of weather you're having there, and if you approached the port slowly and in real time, that type II may have been bumping into the seabed or dock wall for quite a while, causing it to eventually explode...


Rough weather in SH3 is very rough on ships in port unfortunately
