It looks like the 90º angle conexion is broken, but it should be replaceable easily...I think :hmm: . Good luck you don't deserve a problem like that

Hello mate,

Looks like a simple enough fault to fix, besides it's brand new and there is no reason why they should'nt just exchange it for a new replacement. These things ain't cheap and i'd be pretty pissed off if this had happened to me

I have three airbrushes and no compressor as mine has given up the ghost. Hence all the painting/weathering has been a bit of a 'How the bloody hell am i going to to get that effect with brushes?'

I also think that too much relience on an airbrush can lead to a model looking like it's been, er...airbrushed, if you see what i mean?

Hope all turns out ok with your faulty compressor,

Sav.

Second coat of Schiffsbodenfarbe III 50/50 dilluted with Humbrol thinner, sprayed at 20 psi.

After 6 hours another coat of lighter paint applied on large surfacess between the welds, to create the impression of the p.hull segments.
The paint was mixed 40% Schiffsbodenfarbe III + 50% humbroll thinner + 10% Baltic Dunkelgrau.

Have you started to weathering this part? The last pic looks like you had sprayed some "yellowish" effect to simulate rust.

....I might have done.

Tamiya XF-64 mixed 10/90 for wash. Revell matt 83 to form the rusty streaks, finished by Tamiya weathering master orange rust pigments.

Exhausts were fixed back in place.

Thank You Sabalo.

Rusting process continues. Ive added lot of rust pigments.
I had in mind the conditions under which the rusting process took place in RL.
I think the water would wash the rust particles all over the pressure hull, andd instead of vertical streaks i opted for large patches of rust widening towards the cavities.

Comments welcome.

It's excellent. How the heck are you getting into the underside of everything?

Now that the deck is in place, exactly how much of that beautiful underdeck detailing work can you actually see through the limber holes?
