Keith Moon would have loved to meet you, too; he was one of the most approachable, friendliest celebrities I've ever seen or met. Once he knew you, he always remembered you, perhaps not by name (he was infamous for forgetting names), but he would remember your face and having met you before and he would greet you like an old friend. There are times when someone passes away where it tugs at you just a bit more than others just because that person was one of those you wish could stick around just a bit longer. The rock club where I worked is long, long gone (it was 40 years ago that it closed! Good God, I'm old!), but even now, when I pass by the former site, one of the first thoughts is of Moon. He was an original in all senses of the word...
When the film The Kids Are Alright came out, I took my then girlfriend to see it; she knew very little about The Who and, at one point, she asked me why they were speeding up the footage of the drummer; I told her "It's not sped up, for Keith Moon, that is normal speed". Here is a bit of an analysis of Moon's drumming: <O>

^You were lucky to saw him in real life. Too bad, he was one of those(too many)rock icons died too early. Well, he didn't exactly belong to "28 club" at least.

^I remember "don't tell me" song from this band played by music box and sky channel. Good stuff, as well as the song you posted.

yes you will.
Was working on the house while listening to Frank's "Joe's Garage". Came across something other than what I was looking to share, it's still Frank though.

A DJ on the local free-form radio station here in LA just mentioned this track and I looked it up: written by David Bowie, produced by Bowie and Mick Ronson, and with backing vocals by Bowie, here is The Man Who Sold The World...
...sung by Lulu: <O>
