Yeah those uncivil ships, being all uppity and trying to run over your German copy of an American sub which just happens to be on loan to the Imperial Japanese Navy with it's 105mm automatic deck gun that can 360 no-scope Stalin from the other side of the planet with frickin' laser beams and can sink any ship with of it's x number of torpedoes within a 50 km radius cause Nazi science, unless it's one of those uncivil ships then all x number of torpedoes get a 100 km range bonus and +100 attack speed.

Is that a Japanese captain of a German Gato-class submarine, operating in the Pacific?

That might not be historically accurate. We should check on that.

Guys this is SCAM.

I mean come on.
"Best Submarine Simulator"?
Why not just call it "Clickbait deluXe?"
I'd suggest removing this from the front page asap, some people might fall for it after finding it on Subsim and also lock this thread.

What a disgrace for Subsims...

Hold the phone. I think that entire page is really an elaborate scam set up by Neal to have people guess "Best Submarine Simulation Game" whenever he posts a screenshot of "Danger from the Deep" during the 2015 Mystery Subsim Challenge.

Nah, I mean Neal's command of the English language is pretty bad. But even he isn't as bad as what I see on that site.

Icon10 ROTF-LMAO

Yes, yes indeed; another fine example of a true-to-life, hysterically accurate (er...my bad..."historically accurate") simulation for serious wargamers. It fits right in there with "Tank"...armored vehicle warfare on a giant dirt-bike obstacle track ("Damn the reality...ramming speed!").

But really folks...doesn't this at least make Ubisoft's products, no matter how flawed initially, look a bit better?

Y'know, looking closely at the hero of this Ad, he is wearing a slightly older U.S. Army Class 'A' Service uniform blouse and trousers (partly) with a U.S. Navy Flag Officer's service dress combination cap (white cover). Maybe he's a member of the American People's Liberation Army Navy.

Hhhmmm...he does look a little familiar though. Got it...Magua survived his encounter with Chingachgook, found an alien time-machine and made it to the nearest Army-Navy Surplus Store in order to disguise himself and re-infiltrate behind Colonial lines, unaware that the French & Indian War ended shortly after he hatched his devious scheme. Well, it makes for a story line that would seem to fit right in with this abomination.

A WW German Gato class submarine, in the Pacific, whose Captain has an Air Assault badge, and a Battle of the Bulge Ribbon...What's he do? Repel off the conning tower?

I would imagine that the owners of the copyrights of those screenshots might want to know about this.
