You know, if you really think that these pictures might impress me ... then you're damn right they do! Nice drydocks BTW! Are they new too? To my knowledge I never encountered any in 1.03 and also can't remember them being mentioned in any of the previous sneak peaks

Its become quite obvious that im going to loose a large portion of my spare time to the new version when it comes out.
Those pics are simply amazing stuff. I especially like the B-17's. Beautiful Stuff.

Several of those litterally made me gasp. Gotta love the floating drydocks, too.
And a V-1? Wow. Never saw that one coming.

The little details are simply amazing. Did you notice that there are even cockpit gauges for the Me-109?
Also, simply putting in transparent glass adds so much to the models. I assume the olive-skinned heavy bombers will have a different type of AI than the Coastal Command versions - is that correct?

Trust me they look even better in game, but not so much when they are bombing or strafing your boat. LOL

Though it also isn't apparent by the screenshot, the Hudson scheme is grey... not silver. Though the aircraft may not be up to the personal standards of some individuals, they are far more historically accurate in all fields in comparison to what was previously available in stock SH3 and/or GWX. If you don't like 'em... you don't have to use them. I happen to be really proud of what our guys have done given the environment that preceded much of the finishing work on these units... and the high pay that they received during construction. (LOL) Given any element of SH3 or any mod... I'm sure we could all count rivets until the cows come home. Nothing that we can do, or draw from ALL our bag of skills... will make a perfect game for everyone. Our guys did a really good thing for an area of SH3 that has been rather neglected. |
