I would love to use this mod, but it gives me warnings about overwriting "NewUIs_TDC_4_2_0" - the mod I'm not willing to quit. The warnings are about just a few files:
- Boot_Sensors.sim - SS_Uboat7a/7b/7c/7c41.cfg Any tips on how to use both mods?

Most people (including myself) use both mods and load TDW UI after UHS. Not sure what you lose or gain but I've seen no adverse effects.

Then the question is: do you see any positive effects of UHS?

I remember reading about this in the TDW UI thread and apparently the only thing changed was some periscope height changes, which was a good thing because people coming to periscope depth were still looking under water. I can tell you that my sub is still riding nicely in the water so UHS is doing it's job.

Installed it with TDW's "New UIs" aka "Multiple UIs", and it works. Didn't dive deep yet, too shallow waters, but on the surface the boat behaves MUCH better, I can see it at first glance on it - sits deeper, more realistic, leaves bigger wake, waves produce much more foam when hitting hull. Great visual experience compared to stock.
I suppose only (or mostly) eye candy works when these 2 mods are combined, and the technical specs are unchanged, as TDW's mod overwrites the changes made by UHS. I checked fuel and surface speeds - no change at all. That's too bad, but it was still worth to install this mod.

TDW's mod mainly changes depth settings for periscope depth, snorkel depth (obs scope depth) and modifies telegraph settings. Draft may or may not be affected, but the UI mod should have no effect on speeds or ranges as those are in the SIM files.

Hi All, I just found that VIIC cannot maintain the depth at 1knot if deeper than 180M. Can it be fixed by tweaking the submerge displacment in sim file? need help. Have not have a chance to try VIIC41. seems each type of boat has a depth value which the depth cannot maintained if deeper than.

FX has nothing to do with this mod, UHS is a "patch" for the sub behaviour and management as IRAI is a "patch" for the AI and FX for general ship behaviour and fx effects.
