Thanks a lot Ducimus, that means a lot considering I was a slave to TMO ;]

I am pretty picky on which mods i use, but this is one of them. Compared to stock, they definatly ride better on the ocean.
![]() ![]() BTW, I posted some technical info earlier, do with that what you will, i just thought you might like the info. I also did some preliminary work (that i am no longer pursuing) with hydrodynamic drag. You can find the results of that here if your interested and feeling ambitious. Personally i question if the effects on game play is worth the effort involved in implementing it, but at the very least i figure it's worth mentioning. Keep up the good work! ![]() |

I have a question.
After using TDW's New UIs v3.0.5 as well as the twisty periscope things.. my Observation periscope is alot shorter then my attack scope. So much so that my "Snorkel Depth" Command is now my Observation Periscope Depth at 11 Meters ![]() My question is, with the lowering of the periscope depth from 12M to 14M, will I have to remap the key again to 11M?

From what I have looked at, I think Install NEWUI's first then UHS last.
TDW adjusted periscope height's in the Uboot_sensors.sim and adjusted the Periscope Dpeth in the CFG files to match. So installing U-Boat Historical Specifications last shouldn't break anything. The Dials.dds is just a texture. If it is layed out the same as stock it is also fine. Last edited by TheBeast; 07-14-10 at 06:51 PM. |

Can you make this mod compatible with TDW UI 3.5.1 and (edit) IRAI 0.0.11?
I don´t know if it´s yet. Sorry if in fact it is. |

Install IRAI after UHS and skip the warnings, is the way I do and is working perfectly. IRAI brings just improvements to this mod, nothing bad.

Seems to be pretty stable now, installed UHS first, then the others above. One thing Ive noticed is the ride height on the VIIB (my current sub) seems just a tad low. The stern is often under water even in light seas and you can't ever see the external tanks (bulges) even when in flat seas. Could use a minor tweak but its not a big deal. Great work, thank you! |
