Bah, you only got captured once
once too much
the main goal is to stay alive and on your own side.

Ow and I got a friendly Flak shell (109 number 8, 9 and 10 got shot to pieces too) right in my engine by take off making me crash at the end of it.... kinda weird that the light flaks are attacking the ground targets passing just behind the airfield, thereby firing accros the runway.

something new for Oberon meeting Blenheims,

Oberon, NICHT Angreifen, Ich wiederholen NICHT angreifen!

Who the hell let those ground targets pass 10 meters from our airstrip anyway?, they drove a huge gap in the front...

Oh, and it seems the French mission planning is about as bad as ours, the first sortie a whole wing of Blenheims bombed their own airstrip after flying right over ours

I guess the Belgians will now make me reveal all our secrets with their chocolate and beer...

I'm going to see the new Batman tonight, but I should make it. In case I'm late feel free to start without me and I'll join when I join.

Hahaha

I was climbing right behind Oberon so I had a front row seat. Even before the message appeared you could see what happened, as his 109 suddenly plummetted towards the ground with all guns blazing.

The last sortie was funny because immediately after we turned towards the bombers your voice came over the TS: "Guys do not attack the bombers. Nicht angreifen die Bombers. Ich wiederhole, nicht angreifen die Bombers"

Oh and one more thing: We should really start working on some kind of lead/wingman and inter-element cooperation system before the going gets tough. Hurris and P-36s aren't too hard to deal with even when one is alone, but they'd be a piece of cake if we cooperated better. This isn't actually my field of expertise, so some practise would be useful before we meet those Spits, Lightnings, Thunderbolts and Mustangs.

I said ''Nicht die bombers angreifen, ich wiederhole nicht die bombers angreifen''

about tactics, for now we are just blazing around..picking our own target and mow it down.

to practice some Leader & Wingman we should play 2 vs 2 (vs 2) dogfights and put ourselfs in seperate channels on teamspeak so the 2 teams cant hear eachother.

Dowly and I have tried this before with P51's in my dogfight server, and we did it in spitfires in the WoE server for a short time, works quiet well as long the enemy does not hear what you're doing and the results are satisfying.
but if you're the leader you have to tell your wingman everything you do with your engine management (throttle, radiators, mixture, superchargers, prop pitch) so he can keep up with you.

perhaps we could do a 1-day a week Dogfight session where we practice Teamwork between 2 pilots (leader&Wingman), Bomber escort, bomber killing and some more stuff.
