Thanks for the warm welcome ! After a re-install of SHIII I went out on my first war-patrol, managed to sink about 15k Though I need some more experience with manual targeting, since I've started using the ACM and OLC 'Gold' stuff. Otherwise, it was a nice first run.

Perhaps ... Although I'am already too aggressive for my own good (and especially that of my crew) Oh btw, this is probably not a good thread to post this in, but I'll do it anyway: I have SHIII with GWX and some other mods, would installing SH3 commander be a bad idea with that in mind (or could I just disable all the mods and be fine) ?

I'm not sure what you mean by "with that in mind", but if it's mod-related you have nothing to worry about. Commander is an external tool that controls the game, so it doesn't require any mods to be uninstalled first. What it does is add so much you won't believe the difference. What the supermods do for your gameplay Commander does for your career, so much so that it is the equal of any supermod and complements them all.

Oh, and WELCOME ABOARD!

Had SH5 since first launched, but like many others found too many issues to enjoy the sim, including the DRM.

Thank you to all the modders and other contributors to the wealth of info on the Subsim pages.

Going to give it another go. So much to learn about.

I'll take my time and enjoy it.

Thanks to all those who stuck with it and made SH5 so much better.

Ah, that was exactly what I meant (if mods would somehow compromise the install of SH3 Commander, or the other way around). So what about my active saves/patrols, any problems with that (i.e. fiddling with settings in SH3 Commander and loading a save) ?
Thanks

Welcome aboard all

@PPoS As with anything, always make changes when in port between patrols, never at sea in the midst of battle.
