The cliff racers are no more. Or at least Jiub says so.

I'll believe it when I see it, not even an atomic war would be able to wipe those things out IMHO...it was probably them that caused Red Mountain to erupt and Vivec to collapse...

Always thought Cliff Racers were good sport, never understood why everyone disliked them so much.

Generally just shot them from distance... Guess it's because of all you boring melee types.

Netches, now those were nasty.

Hmmm looking at getting Skyrim/Dawnguard/Hearthfire for PC. All for under what the original price of Skyrim alone is on Steam... I have Skyrim already on PS3 but the possibilities of the DLCs becoming availalbe is looking grim.

So, is it worth it to get Skyrim+the DLCs (and added goodies of the mods on PC), or should I just wait for the DLCs on PS3?

It's definitely worth getting Skyrim plus the DLC on PC ,combine that with some of the available mods and you'll never go back to the ps3 version

Get it. There is zero reason not to have this game and all its DLC and any MODS you desire. Just simply a great game. The box says it all "Live another life in another world"

Looks like its settled. Thanks all. Any really recommended mods that won't screw up my game with DLC?

Not that I suggest any PS3 user actively puts more money Bugethesdas way but if you can minimise the amount they get, it's better than nothing.

Skyrim £9.99 or $15.95 Steam activated: https://www.impulsedriven.com/products/ESD-IMP-W2491

@ Krauter - DLC in it's current form will not make it to PS3, if you enjoy the game that much, don't wait.

One of the reports that I read said that the content, or at least data, included in this DLC is about the same size as the vanilla game. However the island itself will be about the same size as the Rift.

Dragonborn will come to PS3 in early 2013?

In which alternate reality is that happening then? Considering the first 2 DLC have yet to rear their ugly heads above the parapit on that console.

I absolutely love Bugesda's logic about this. Let Xbox lovers get the game in time for Xmas, and let the rest of us get it in January (or later) when most of us will have no money because we spent a load of it all during Xmas.

I wonder how much money Microsoft threw at them?

Nobody hinders you to put aside some of your christmas money. If you don't, that is not Bethesda's mistake or responsibility, but yours.

I see there are few who know the TES lore better than anyone probably should, so here be a question:

I've been playing TES:Arena for a couple of days and I can't help but notice
that both Mithril and Adamantium are in the game, yet are absent from the later
games (Morrowind->). Is there any in-universe explanation for their disappearance?

Actually, mithril was in Oblivion as the second strongest suit of normal light armor (only glass was stronger).

As far as I know, no explaination was formally given for their absence. They may be due to legal disputes with the Tolkien estate and Marvel Comics respectively, but that is a wild guess.
