Actually, all three of my cats like belly rubs. The trick is, when they're kittens, never let them scratch or bite when you touch them. Let them tear the toys apart instead.

I'll definitely keep that advice filed away for future reference. I got my cat after she had grown a bit, so never had a chance to teach her anything from an early age.

The whole belly rub thing is about trust. My mom can do it all day to her cat, but be it anyone else and you better have your first aid kit nearby.
