I don't think the batteries deplete fast, Pen. It was one of the things I had to fix with the original SHIV, but so far it looks quite reasonable for the IXD2, both as far as depletion and recharge times. I think it runs pretty much its exact advertised range underwater at 2kt or so.

Ah I always go at 3 knots.
I use 3 knots on SH3 and usually it can stay down for a good 12 hours normally its lack of air that brings me up, not batteries. |
