Yes Biggles, some are able to play both IL2 FB+ACE and IL2 1946 seperated by dual installs.
soon we all will have IL2 1946 and get started officialy. our online squadron name J8A Hero's is yet in some preparation state. like Challenges from which I,m working on with the full mission editor. (like Survival Mode) Dowly is busy with the website and Danlisa is looking around for some fun stuff to try out with IL2 like campaigns and missions.

Welcome MrChris.
BTW, do yourself a favour & RTFM.:rotfl::rotfl: There are soooo many keys to remember and even some that need setting up. Take your time and enjoy it, this is one of the best series of games ever (if not the best).

Wow! I''ve now played OFF and have to say that it's great!
My pilot, James Bigglesworth, has this far claimed 15 victories, 13 of them is comfirmed. For those of you who don't know this, in OFF your kills are counted in claims and comfirmed, so if you shoot down a Fokker and noone is around to see it, it doesn't count. A very interesting feature which I've been longing to see in a flight sim!
