Adobe Reader install problem on Win 7
I previously had Yandex installed on my laptop and is a pain so I removed it and tried downloading Adobe Reader. Seems the only allowable version is Adobe Reader DC so I tried installing it and get a message that a newer version is already installed.
I checked Add/Remove Programs but there is no Acrobat files in there at all, if I double click a pdf file it asks for a program to open it with, but nothing there? Anyone have any ideas what to do or where to look? Thanks.

This video/mod/update was done on windows 8 and is nothing like windows 7 (32bit), I did try working around it by ticking "show hidden files" but the file in the "program files" folder does not exist.
It seems that it is a C runtime error according to the Adobe reader page: https://helpx.adobe.com/au/acrobat/k...ler-packa.html goes to: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...5-287930f3560c Tried this but the file will not run so I'm blowed if I know what to do now.

Maybe the best solution is an alternative reader. (free) If anyone knows a good one please suggest it, thanks.

Use a "Cleaner" to get rid of registry entry and some junk files to avoid "any kind of problem". After that take down Reader from trust source "and NOT 3 part links, if that the case.
