Excellent! Thanks for looking into that zeus. With the size of the data load with FotRSU, a proper LAA actvation is a must. What CapnScurvy discovered is that he can't run the Museum for FotRSU in his WinXP machine, since it is 32-bit, and cannot address the extra memory, so we know that it is a necessity to have LAA when running the mod.

You probably did, but when a new version is added the old one is deleted. It's a matter of storage.

Well, v0.63 was June / July 2017, so I'm going to guess maybe version 0.56 - Do you happen to remember if there were ships with scout planes? You'd see some green, center-pontooned F1M Petes flying about out in the middle of nowhere, and then a CL would come along? If so, that might have been v0.56?? I just lost the hard drive on my laptop, so I am hoping I had most of that backed-up. I know I've got some of the older versions. What did you like about the earlier version that you don't like about this one, gutted? Thanks

For the colors of the sea and sky? A few things were changed, the most notable being the size of the sun and moon, but I cannot recall when that occurred. Beyond that, we'll have to wait for CapnScurvy to come in from the garage and dish the differences... I'll try to find some of the older versions and find the dates, and get back with you gutted.

There are at minimum 5 version of Fall of the Rising Sun in the download section. Two of those are separate Ultimate versions.

Dear mates:

Could someone post here your Nvidia Control Panel or Nvidia Inspector settings for your FOTRSU? I have AA 4xMultisampling with the Diablo III AA compatibility, and with this setting, I can't use the glare effect (ugly lines appears in the images). With this settings, I can use FOTRSU without glare. I have W10 Creator and the latest Nvidia updates cause problems with SH4. In fact, I only have AA with the Diablo settings, the other options don't work - no AA and very awful graphics. I want to return to PTO after some ATO TWoS campaigns with SH5 but this graphic issue causes me panic attacks and I don't leave Pearl Harbor and return to the Atlantic.

Many thanks and regards.

Darn another CTD.

Aug. 1942 leaving Midway in a Gar Class heading to 11-B clear sailing until I was about 85nm from the star then crashed with a c0000005 error.

Rerunning the mission to see if it replicates.

Default warship spawns to convoy

hey, i just encountered something odd.
March 27 1943, somewhere between the Bonins and Taiwan(134-5 E, 26-36 N), i see an Enemy Warship icon on a northernly bearing at high speed. i am on an easterly course, converging on the warship. when she gets close enough to me (or i close enough to her), the warship spawns into a multi-ship convoy.
WTF.
seriously: why wouldn't the pre-spawn icon have a Convoy label as opposed to a Warship label? the convoy consists of 2 AK, 1 AO, 1 Liner, 2 CL.

I'll look at RGG tracks through the area merc4ulfate, for a possible bad spawn in that area - 85nm from the patrol "star" for 11-b area... Was it a patrol mission, or a "proceed directly to Area 11-b and standby for further orders" message? Did the computer seem to "stutter" just before the CTD? Airplanes around?

@ fitzcarraldo: I thought that Front Runner had his somewhere, but all I can find are the links to guru3D stuff:

https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/nv...-guide.403676/

https://www.guru3d.com/files-details...-download.html

maybe it was over in the SH3 side...
