i managed to get rid of the flat sun ( kind of, in the mornings and evenings is still pretty small but at least its not a white dot anymore) by disabling the gamma correction with the nvidia inspector , however increasing the antialiasing above 4x brings back the small white dot sun .

@rik007 , if you have time, please check out this mod :
http://www.mediafire.com/file/q252fn...D0%BAm.%29.rar I found it from a Russian forum, it's a very nice SH5 water mod for SH3 (a 16 km one) and the sun has no issues, it is always big and bright . As it is right now, for me, the sun from your mod looks too small in the morning and evenings ( see that screenshot from Fifi ) and it causes all kind of issues when it is behind a cloud ( it starts to look like a square and flickers ) . Is there a way to "import" a sun from a mod to another ? If that would be possible , maybe it will fix the problems for those of us with nvidia cards that have similar issues . I love the colors from your mod and i would love to use it as my main env mod. |

And yes, the mods can be changed. Sometimes with the silent 3d editor, sometimes with just copying the files. |

I don't like these angles on the horizon. Will you be able to fix it?

@Rik
Hats off mate great water, however some probs. An Nvidia user and there are terrible artefacts with the moon, flashing, distortion, disappearing etc. I tried to get a screenie but it's impossible. If it helps I'll try get a fraps movie or some such. Our luck when I reload sh3 the bloody weather will change Bye the bye, better mention, I'm running GWX. Nvidia latest drivers on a 1080ti. Using my .nip file, can up if need be. Keep it up mate, the sea is the best I seen, just need to iron out the artifacts. Best regards. Fubar2Niner |

@Fubar2Niner
Don't worry, i sent Rik a couple of movies with similar problems . I guess we need more feedback from people with Nvidia cards, i also have a gaming notebook from 2012 with nvidia video card, i tried the mod on that one and it works perfect, no issues whatsoever, while the newer one ( its from 2015 ) has all the problems you mentioned . |
