I cannot recall if there are any rules regarding necroposting, but it can be disruptive. I would consider it more of an FYI than anything else. Besides, I am not staff therefore I can make no real judgments.

I don't think it should be an issue in this particular board. I mean, you scroll down and there are threads from over a year ago on the first page

I just wouldn't particularly expect a reply from any of the OPs, but who knows?
