Default Customary "Hi, I'm (a) new(b)"

Hiya,

as for the subject.. I've been playing SH III on and off for 2 years or so, so maybe not a newbie, but I still subscribe to "noob" in this genre on many aspects :-)

I use GWX 3.0 Gold, no other mods.

Waiting for the community to work out SH V to reasonable shape, then shifting to it. Or that's the plan anyway.

Oh, and there will be some questions on the forums....

Good! We get a lot of folks who drop in to say hi, or ask a question, and then disappear never to be heard from again. Ask as much as you want, and stick around long enough to answer some yourself down the line.

You'll find us a friendly enough bunch.

Aye, that's the general problem in most of the games. Me, I'm picking up games and dropping them on a regular basis, but three (ok, 2 plus one genre) have withstood the test of time..
- WoW (yeah, one of THEM nuts)
- FPS's (currently CoD MW2 ...yeah, one of THEM nuts too)
and
- SH III

An odd collection one might think, but if I take a (skewed) look at them I can identify a pattern there.. in WoW my favourite class is Rogue and Feral Kitty Drood (both are stealth, high-damage, low-survivability -classes). On FPS's I've lugged Barrett "Lite" (that's the "classic" sniper rifle in most FPS's in case someone didn't know) around more than anything else even combined and SH III is.. well, all about stealth and sudden devastating attacks as well.

So chances are I'll be around :-).

As for forum activity.. yea I do write to them occasionally, but I'm not what you might call an active poster. Having said that, if I do see a question I can answer to then usually I do, however.

So.. cheers, thx again for the warm welcome and see you on the other threads :-)
