Hi guys,
I'm experiencing the same problems as rugby6 (his post is on page 1 of this thread). I did a re-install of SH3 and LSHV5 following the step-by-step instructions but I cannot manually change the TDC controls - either on the TDC screen or the pop-up at the bottom of the attack periscope screen. I also cannot click on the bottom icons for radio messages, briefings or the observation scope. Also, the TDC/Course finder cannot be moved either - (the one activated by the small button on the pop-up TDC console). I've tried various combinations of mods but the result is always the same. Very strange. Below is my current MODS list. Any help is appreciated. Cheers guys! Px3000

Hello All,
Is anyone experiencing any graphics problems with the mod? I ran it today and I was scrolling on the map (F5) and my display suddenly went black. I could hear sound in background but no picture at all. I couldn't even get the task manager to come up. I eventually had to turn the computer completely off and reboot. I sure would like some advice. Eagerly waiting for some help. Thanks.

deactivating all the MODs will of course take you back to a vanilla SH3. To be sure check the folders "!BACKUP" and "!INSTLOGS" - they should be empty! If you've had the same problems with GWX, i think, you will also have nearly the same ones with vanilla SH3. Therefore you should update the drivers of your graphics adapter. Your system is powerful enough to play LSH3 V5. Greatz Blueduck |

the desired file can be found in the folder "documentation" within "SilentHunter III". The file is called "LSH3_V5_Minimanual_EN.pdf" Gretz Blueduck Last edited by blueduck; 01-05-10 at 07:28 PM. |

Question on graphics
I believe I have this installed correctly but reading some of the questions I am not sure. Does this mod change the look of the game as some others do or is it a improvement on game play?

Could this mod also work with a 16 km environment, instead of the standard 9 km? If yes, which one would be best suited? Thanks in advance.

we did have CTD with developement-versions of LSH3V5 when zooming in and out of F5 with Win Vista and Win7. These problems have been fixed and did not happen with Windows XP. In fact you are the first reporting this problem. You might try the "4GB-Patch" delivered with LSH3 V5 but read carefully and remember to modify your boot.ini. Another choise might be the use of "GameBooster" http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html because the number of tasks running in the background of your system may also take an influence on the amount of free memory. If all this does not work, the only chance i see will be a new clean install of SH3 and LSH3 V5. Greetz Blueduck |

can you see this intro screen when you start SH3: Then congratulations LSH3 V5 is correctly installed. And yes, LSH3 V5 changes the look of the game and improves game play! Just get in and have a look around! Greetz Blueduck |

you will not need a 16 km environment because it is already built in. See page 11 of the "LSH3_V5_Minimanual_EN.pdf" for further information. Greetz Blueduck |
