Best value AM2+ CPU

Well, I am still getting reboots, I changed the ram and still the same, seems if I don't overclock my CPU at all (Athlon X2 Kuma Black edition 7750) leaving it at 200 x 13.5 it runs ok, to me that sucks, a new motherboard equivalent to mine would be around AU $300, a CPU chip is much cheaper, any ideas on what the best value for money would be for an X2 or X4 (AM2+)?
Thanks.
This ad from a local supplier, not sure what they are (AM2+/AM3):

Quote:
AMD 940Pin AM2/AM3 (Genuine Retail)

CPU Type-------------------------------------------
Price ($AU)
Sempron LE-1250 / x3 Phenom II 710 / 720-----------39 / 144 / 158
x2 Athlon 7750 / 240 / 245 / 250 / 550---------------75 /75 /82 /96 /133
x4 Phenom 9650 / x4 Phenom II 810 / 945 / 955------129 /185 /235/267
EDIT: Seems that updating my bios I can use AM3 processors such as Athlon II X4 620.

I have been running OCCT that puts the CPU under stress and if I don't overclock it, the system seems, so far, to be stable.
I will probably upgrade my processor from the Athlon X2 Kuma Black edition 7750, any suggestions/advise welcome.
I think I will go with the Phenom II X2 550, review looks good (I assume this to be the AMD X2 550 in the tests:

Wait until the 6-core from AMD. I think they're coming next year.

Pity they won't fit our old motherboards though!!

Yes i did some checking and the Phenom II X2 550 BE is quite a step up from the last generation of X2 CPU's for speed with less heat, this is an AM3 processor and I checked with ASUS and with my bios version (1406) will run with no problems, you may have to look into that yourself, it may well run in yours, a cheap but decent upgrade!

Oh what a joy this is, I have overclocked this chip (202mhz x 18.5) and thrown everything at it all day and all pass with flying colors, even 3DMark06 averages out to around 10150!Have ran the OCCT program for over 3 hours, not one reset so far over a total of around 12 hours solid, very happy indeed!!
