History of Swedish submarine
There is this website about history of Swedish submarine which might be of interest.
http://www.bjorns-story.se/private/S...ubatar_eng.htm The Sjolejonet class is particularly interesting as it looks rather similiar to type-VII Uboat. It also has torpedo tube of same diameter as Kriegsmarine torpedo which is 21 inch. As far as I know, Germany contracted Sweden to manufacture T2 torpedo back in 1929. |
