Just wonder if all the brave modders have ironed out all the glaring problems yet, or should I just stick to Grey Wolves Gold and Trigger Maru?

Amazon currently has SH5 for $10.
Whether or not you think SH5 is worth $10 in its present state of evolution is something only you can answer. But, at that price, you can check it out and decide without risking more than dinner for two at Mickey D's. |

Some people have a lot of fun with it.
There are 3 things I like it for above SH3. Real navigation which is pretty awesome. The water visuals, very nice and the visual fidelity of the ships. I miss the crew management of SH3 which I thought was very good in compassion to the way it was half assed in SH5. If that module could be modded right back into SH5 then SH5 would be a keeper for me. |

If SH5 is the game you want to play, then yes it is worth it and has been for a couple of years at least. The main bugs are ironed out and there are some great adventures to be had.
If it's not, then no, it's not worth it and never will be. The differences in gameplay between SH5 and its predecessors is immense. The answers are out there. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...orth+it+yet%3F http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...=worth+playing http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...orth+it+yet%3F
