Could someone please tell me how to make the deck gun available in bad weather? I know it is not realistic to have the deck gun manned when the deck is submerged, but the fact that it is impossible at all to man it even when the waves are only small is down right annoying

Hi Werewolf,
you have to do this in .cfg files of all your subs: ...\SilentHunterIII\data\Submarine\NSS_Uboatxx\NSS_Uboatxx.cfg look for this line: StormConditions=9,0.1;max wind speed [m/s], max rain intensity [0,1] This is only an example - it means you can man the deck gun [and flak] up to wind-force 9. Also you can increase the value of rain intensity [the value after the comma]. Greetz, SSB |

But be forwarned: the storm values also govern the watch crew's clothes. If you increase the storm values all the way to 15 (the max) the watch crew will be dressed for sunshine even in the worst weather.
