Default [WIP]U-jagd tools mod

This is a mod that introduces in-game versions of many of the tools that the U-boats used for their plotting and data gathering. It is a co-release with Hitman who provided the research and most of the graphics. Recently Onelifecrisis has collaborated, by providing invaluable insights obtained through what he learnt in the creation of his own WIP.

Eventually this mod will be released for Stock, NYGM, GWX as well as with Onelifecrisis' own great new GUI interface.

Here are some screenies...

First the Zielkurswinkel Rad, or Target Course Angle wheel. This slides down over the scope and is used to quickly and accurately determine AOB based on the aspect ratio of the target.

Next is the U-jagd Stoppuhr. This is an adaptation of the original chrono and Jonz draggable chrono with new images which enable speed estimates to be determined by the fixed wire method

The next stage is the Angriffsscheibe. This is an in-game version of the well-known to many KM whiz-wheel

This is a slide out feature and furthermore your own course is automatically updated into this - just imagine some poor matrosengefreiter whose job it is to spend all day turning this wheel to make sure the correct course is showing .

Truly a "must have", I just started using 100% realism and boy will this help. The modders on this forum are amazing, able to add new features or fix broken ones at will. Good work, your efforts are appreciated mightily

Let me ask you something!

Its a very cool work no doubt, but if I understand,
you take of Using Jonz chrono. and the Stock one
and also the Flaggen Mod on the periscope and UZO...

So who ever installs this have to chose betwin this mod
or all the things that will be changed that I mentioned above???!!!
:hmm:

Glad you like the look of it!

It replaces the draggable chrono that Jonz made, but you could have the Jonz orginal too one if you wanted it. But that would be an aesthetic choice only since this chrono still works as a regular chrono too.

Finally the mod does not replace the Flaggen charts in GWX. It doesn't show because the images are from stock SH3, but the flaggen charts are still there in GWX

In fact in the final version there may beadditional charts included

No either/or choices required!
