Changlelog v3.1:

Fixed engine grills displaying intermitantly bug.
Fixed inverted shadow on old emblem compat versions bug.
Added water reflections for turm ladders
Added water reflections for animated Radio Antenna.

I thoroughly recommend that v3.0 users update to version 3.1 as it fixes a couple of major bugs as well as adding a couple of new features. I have updated the download links to point to the new version.

Greetings,

Supplied are two version of the mod (use on or the other, not both at the same time), one with three MG-34 machine guns inside the turm and mounted on the bridge and the same but with 2xMG34's. This version of the mods includes both stock emblems and Turm Emblems Your Way compatable versions of the above making a total of four variations. Also included are both Privateer's original Emblems template and a new version of this for use with my mod to correctly fit the re-scaled turm.

The main feature of this mod is that I've re-scaled the Type 9 c-1 turm (conning tower) to make it larger so that the crew on the bridge look in correct proportion to the turm and notg bigger as was the case previously. I've also incorporated features of my other "Super Turms" mods such as the UZO model rotating to match the UZO bearing, the lowering and raising of the Radio Antenna (SHIFT+A/CTRL+A keys) and the turm objects such as the MG-34's ammo drums, coffee cup, UZO and helmets disappear from inside the turm when surfacing and re-appear when diving.


The mod inludes Tomson's Dials and is fully compatible with Anvart's GWX_DFa-Flag&Pens_2010, GFlags, Pennants and DF Antenna mod.

Credits:

Privateer for his permission to incorporate his MG-34 and Turm Emblems Your Way 9 mods and for all his help.

Anvart for his StateMachine method.

Testpilot for his permission to include his UZO and DF antenna models and textures.

Thomson for his excellent Thompson's Dials v2.0

There isn't a file for stock 1.4, I don't use stock 1.4 mate, I use GWX.

Is it normal that the grills textures are flickering and show only on certain angle of camera (~straight angle)? They hide completely at other angles (~sharp angles).

And the shadows of "old emblems compat" version are broken for me - they are inverted for turm & the rest of sub:


(here you also see, that the grills dissapeared at this angle)

Hi mate,

I have already fixed the grills problem earlier today and am uploading 3.1.

Regarding the shadows, I can't see how the turm file effects the hull?!.

I will re-do the download links shortly.

It doesn't affect the hull - the hull shadow is ok (that is, the light side is the side from the sun), the problem is with the turm shadow - it is inverted (that is, the dark side is the side from the sun), as on the screnshot. I don't have this problem with "emblems your way" version.
