Flak Gun Power tweaks

I need to know what files I need to edit in order to up the power on my flak guns. (Deck gun edits would useful too)

I'm running with GW. Thank ahead of time

Download my Gun FX Mod, Steps 4 and 5 contains the info you are looking for.

Plus you can reduce the planes hit points, editing the Zones.cfg files.

You must to edit the hitpoints for the planes sections or parts, plus you can change the armor level.

look at the bottom of the Zones.cfg files, look for :

Fighters
Light Bombers
Medium Bombers
Heavy Bombers and
Common Items.....

reduce hitpoints value and armor.

Yes.. look into the mod, it is a step by step procedure. You can improve the tracer shells visibility, the shells explosion textures, and the AAA and deck gun shells power and reload times.

Plus you can edit the hitpoints and armor for the planes and comon plane items into the zones.cfg to make the planes more vulnerable.

I had edited the zones too, because i was tired to be attacked by 18 B-24 at dock just before start-up the mission, just reduce Hit points into the fighters, Light, medium and heavy bombers, and into Common Items at bottom of the zones.cfg file.

You can reduce the armor too.... but reducing the hit points is enough.

Here i build a pack with somo of my files...

It includes

Gun FX
Depth charges FX
DD's Detection (gives you a good protection under silent running)
My present in use Scene and Enviromental files, to have good underwater and night visibility
A Tweaked Zones.cfg file, mi present in use zones.cfg file.

May be you can found some of them useful...
