Hi:

Rusty-weathered Type VII-C Skin v1.0 (Standard conning tower)

IMPORTANT:

1: The mod replaces the standard U-Boat colour so you NEED NORMAL paint applied to your sub
2: ONLY COMPATIBLE with Standard conning tower and Type VII-C sub.

NOTES:

1: The mod replaces "all" submarine exterior textures, including exterior woods and deck
2: The skin is not finished yet but looks good, need to add more details and edit especular/normal maps, test it freely.
3: Install it with JSGME, or backup your files first

I think you forgot to mention that on the screenshots you're actually using the shadow map from my Paintshop mod.

That does add a lot of the look, but your weathered textures under the shadow map do look nice.

Anyway you might want to show some screens with only your maps, to give a better impression of what your textures add to the clean game, without my shadow map (or at least mention that this is the look with my map).

EDIT: I'm aware that you're not using my map file in the mod, so my comment is only to the screenshots, people might be confused when they install your textures, an the sub doesn't look like your screenshots, unless they install my shadow map.

I've downloaded it and upon extracting it tells me the file is corrupt.

So.. I re-downloaded it.. same thing.

Just as a color note, the deck was covered in a black wood-preserving coating, so it was actually black when commissioned and gradually got lighter as it aged and wore away, revealing the water-damaged wood underneath.

I dont use your shadow maps, that screenshots are taken with stock ones, specular and normal maps too, the mod only changes structure, conning and deck dds files, full brushed with photoshop, no more.

It's a little annoying having to do this, but all right, here goes. You must have my shadow map installed for the screenshots, cause your maps are not making all the shadow map tweaks shown in the screenshots, you don't even have a shadow map in your file. It's my shadow map, no doubt about it.

What I don't understand is how you can show a screenshot of a stock map, which doesn't have my shadow map, and then show your modded textures, with my shadow map. Clearly you are activating more than your own modded files when switching.

Here are some images to illustrate: 1st one taken when using your mod, and my shadow maps, from my "Paintshop". 2nd one when using only your mod, and stock shadowmaps. Sorry about the not so good image quality, but it should be easy to spot the difference between mine, and the stock shadow map:
