Default [REL] sobers DOF V2 SH5

sobers DOF V2 SH5
Increase the submarine interior depth of field (DOF) .
Increase the ouside view depth of field .
Shadows are darker .
Lighted areas are brighter .
Colours are more intense .
The dark nights are realistic so if you cannot play in a darkened room
then it might be too dark for you to use this mod .
Works best with sobers mega mod list .
Please acknowledge sober if using in any other mod.
Enable witht he mod enabler (jsgme) anytime either in port or mid patrol .
Place after other environment mods , do not let other mods overwrite .

Great work, as usual.
I'm using almost all the mods in your mod list (all the ones that affect night visibility) and it looks fantastic (nights AND days).
One thing I would change, and this is subjective: I don't see that much difference between a new moon night and a full moon night, I think the "bigger" moon nights should be a bit brighter, but I don't know if that's even possible and it's just my opinion.

How is this mod . Are the nights more realistic ? Is it harder to identify flags on a dark night ? Is the tonnage sunk at night more realistic ?

Before(left) and after(right) mod installation.

Sept 1,1939. North Sea. Clouds broken, partially overcast. Afternoon and Night

Good mod for sunny days without or few clouds.

Critical point: the U-Boot interieur looks truly enjoyable in this warmly lit ... a little bit too much enjoyable in my view.

I like the warmly lit, looks good. Perhaps at night, it should be a little bit colder. But if not, I like it as it is

Web, I have the same problem as you with dark nights. This mod does seem to help a lot.

Before it's install I had to turn off all the lights in my computer room and that helped just a small bit. Even had to use my reading specs too. Haven't had to do either so far after the install. Won't hurt to try it as you can always uninstall it when you want.... it should be the last mod you install.

Specially good to use with dark 'Night's Submarine textures POW'- interier mod: the contrast between shadows and highlitened zones is strengthened

I noticed some nights are really dark . I cannot tell where the sea meets the sky on the horizon . I have my ingame gamma setting right in the middle . Thats where i tested it . Yes you do need a darkened room . You can adjust the ingame gamma setting while playing the game .

Haven't tried this mod yet but wondering if its the moon phase affecting it? This affects the darker nights mod that I use making it much darker at times.

I hope so because now the moon light has an effect on how easy it is to identify a flag at night

I cannot see any reason why there shouldn't be medium fog at night, and afaik night darkness shouldn't affect fog density/probability
