Default Any interest in a 'Silent Hunter' Steam group?

I was thinking about a generic "SubSim.com" Steam group - but that may be both too limiting (there aren't THAT many members here compared to how many people have purchased various subsims over the years...although we certainly have all the cool people ), and perhaps too broad. There is, after all, already a 'Dangerous Waters' Steam group. Although, I have a hunch that MOST people in that group haven't actually purchased DW through the Steam store, as the games the group members play doesn't seem slanted towards sub sims.

ANYWAYS, as both Silent Hunter 3 and Silent Hunter 4 are available on 'Steam' (and both, btw, work fine with mods - I'm using GWX 3.0 on my Sh3 Steam install, and TMO on my Sh4 Steam install), it seemed a natural fit to start a group for, so wanted to bounce that idea around, here. There isn't, AFAIK, any difficulty in setting such a group up, but I hardly wanted to create yet another group that would have almost no members.

(Although, ideally, it would be set up by one of the SubSim.com mods or site admins - re-posting news bits from the site to the Steam group channel, and possibly setting up scheduled events for multiplayer matches or whatnot in the group 'events' section.)

If it helps grow and sustain the community why not?

Default NO -NO - NO

Have you seen the rating of that game, not comparable to SH3/4 simulation. Come on man, maybe and I say maybe for DW that offer some sort of challenge, the graphics and physics of this game stinks. That's my opinion, but that game or anyone in the bundle pack are depasse, no support or any technical advice. No use my friend, just stick to SH3/4, and you'll have plenty of sub simulation.

Cya all!

Uhhhhh....what?

Are you saying that 'Dangerous Waters' is not as good a sim as SH3/SH4?? That...boggles the mind? It's about 10 times as challenging, models subsurface sonar with a complexity that can't even be ATTEMPTED in SH3/4, although the graphics certainly aren't up to snuff. Totally as 'hardcore sim' as you can get?
