Submarine Service?

I'm not sure where I would put this, but ever since I played SHIII I got interested into Naval Warfare, specifically submarines. And I was wondering what does it take to be part of the silent service and if it was worth volunteering and what were your regrets (If any). It seems interesting, but sounds mentally demanding.

I think your in the right place, better than GT lol

Seriously just keep your grades up and your dreams up and your hopes up, don't do anything foolish like drugs or alcohol binges or get arrested for anything.

Tell the Navy recruiter you want a non nuclear training job, because they have a tougher time and more schooling to go through than say weapons or radio or sonarman have to go through.

Don't give up ... don't let anyone talk your out of it. Love your country and the rest will fall into place.

I was never really into the nuclear submarines, sure they are cool but, not only would there be more schooling but it would not be as interesting to me, and you wouldn't really hunt anything down. (Not that I'd really want to be in a heated battle, but it would be an experience to never forget) Edit: You mean Nuclear Missile sub's or just Nuclear Powered in general?
