I've looked and looked for a new link for the last-known (to me) v17 of the SH3 version of the manual, and it has apparently disappeared into the nether of the internet... However, I did find one sort-of here, at SubSim:

His link will take you off-site to MediaFire, which has increased their junk advertising similarly to photobucket, only maybe not quite as bad, so just be careful what you click on... I didn't even know half of this existed, so I'm in 7th heaven right now... I see I'll be doing me some reading!

If you're planning on doing your own SM file for the Uboat side of things in SH4, be aware that the file and folder naming format are slightly different. There's a thread somewhere around here about that... btw, the
Mission Builder's Forum would be a good place to be for this also...
